Kel Schmutz writes speculative fiction and fantasy, always with a touch of romance. Hugely influenced by her love of folklore and mythology, she is particularly interested in magic as a metaphor for reality. She reads everything from children's literature to horror to classic fantasy to japanese manga, and is always on the hunt for books that feature the strange or inexplicable or wonderful.
